The Aprilia RSV4 has undergone a radical evolution to ensure it maintains its status of the best superbike of all time. The fruit of an extraordinary design project and the result of years of Aprilia on-track success, the RSV4 delivers more than one extra second of speed, thanks to a new braking system and electronic APRC controls that include cornering ABS and clutchless downshifting. Its Euro 4 compliant, 201 hp engine combines with a chassis that has been a World Superbike champion no less than seven times.

Aprilia APRC

APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) is Aprilia’s widely praised electronic control package, which draws on World Superbike Championship winning technology. The most comprehensive solution on the market, APRC makes full use of an inertial control unit to optimise the bike’s dynamic response according to variables including road/track surface, tyre wear, riding style & weather conditions.

APRC - Aprilia Performance Ride Control

The RSV4 and Tuono V4 both come with APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control), an electronic control package that draws on Superbike world championship-winning technology. The most comprehensive and advanced solution on the market, it is a dynamic suite of electronic systems containing unique auto-calibration and wheelie control functions consisting of: ATC (Aprilia Traction Control), AWC (Aprilia Wheelie Control), ALC (Aprilia Launch Control) and AQS (Aprilia Quick Shift). Starting with the RSV4 RR and Factory, Tuono V4 1100 RR and Factory, AWC has been recalibrated to deliver maximum performance at level 1, the option with greatest freedom.
